For referring providers

A faster path to answers for the families you refer

We provide virtual autism diagnostic evaluations for children ages 1 to 5 in the St. Louis area. Families are seen from home, hear the results from the clinician in person, and leave with a plan. You receive the report, and the patient stays with you.

Why families benefit

What a referral to Sycamore gives your patients

A practice built for evaluations

We do diagnostics only, so our calendar exists for this. Families are not waiting behind therapy caseloads or a clinic’s other priorities.

Evaluated at home, by secure video

No drive across town with a toddler, no waiting room. A young child at home, with their own toys and routine, usually shows us a truer picture than a clinic room does.

A free intake call first

Before anything is scheduled, a clinician talks with the family about what they are noticing and what an evaluation can answer. If we are not the right fit, we say so and point them somewhere that is.

Costs confirmed before scheduling

We verify benefits, handle prior authorization, and tell families their expected out-of-pocket cost in writing. No surprise bills six weeks later.

Results explained by a person

A dedicated feedback session where the clinician walks the family through the findings, what they mean, and what to do first. Not a PDF in a portal.

A report that opens doors

Plain-language findings, prioritized recommendations, and the documentation insurers, school teams, and early intervention need. Delivered within 10 business days, to the family and to you.

For your practice

What you can count on

  • The report comes back to you, with the family’s authorization, so you remain the medical home
  • Your referral question is answered directly, not left hanging behind a generic battery
  • A clinician, not a coordinator, returns your call when you want to discuss a case
  • If we cannot serve a patient you sent, you hear it from us, along with where we directed the family
  • No referral fees in either direction. Our recommendations are clinical, and we can document that for your compliance team
