About

A practice that does one thing well

Families in Missouri routinely wait most of a year for a diagnostic evaluation, during the very window when getting it right matters most. Sycamore Neuropsychology exists to shorten that wait without cutting anything that makes an evaluation worth having.

What we believe

Three commitments

Sycamore Neuropsychology

A comprehensive evaluation, led by a licensed neuropsychologist you can trust

Every evaluation is planned, administered, and interpreted by a Missouri licensed psychologist specializing in pediatric neuropsychology, using standardized, validated measures and direct observation of your child. You get a clinician’s judgment, not a screening score, and a report that holds up with insurers, schools, and therapy providers.

A young child should be seen where they are comfortable

Every evaluation happens by secure video, at home. For a one- to five-year-old, that usually produces a truer picture than an unfamiliar room does. It also removes the drive, the waiting room, and the difficult morning that so often comes with them.

Neurodiversity is real. Our approach is neuroaffirming.

Autistic children are not problems to be corrected. We understand autism as one form of neurodiversity: a different way of experiencing and engaging with the world, with strengths as real as the challenges. Our reports describe those strengths with the same care, and our recommendations are about support, access, and communication, never about making a child appear less autistic. Families tell us this is the part that is hardest to find elsewhere.

Eun-Yeop Lee, PhD, NCSP, BCBA

Missouri Licensed Psychologist · Leads Autism Evaluations

Dr. Lee leads autism evaluations at Sycamore. A psychologist licensed in Missouri and specializing in pediatric neuropsychology, she is also a Nationally Certified School Psychologist and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. That combination lets her see a child through three lenses at once: how their brain works, how they function at school, and what will actually help.

She earned her doctorate in School Psychology, with a concentration in pediatric health, at the University of South Florida, and trained across children’s hospitals, outpatient clinics, and private practice in Boston and Chicago. She served on the faculty of Rush University Medical Center as an assistant professor and staff psychologist at the Rush NeuroBehavioral Center, and as a staff pediatric neuropsychologist at Northwestern Medicine’s Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital.

Her particular focus is ecologically valid assessment: understanding how a child actually functions in the settings where they live, rather than relying on a testing room alone. It is a large part of why the evaluation is done by video from home rather than in a clinic.

She evaluates children ages 1 to 5 for autism, and is known for turning results into action: recommendations educators can use, and therapy goals a clinical team can start from on day one.

Where we are

Serving St. Louis area families

Every evaluation happens by secure video, from your own home. For a young child, that usually means a more accurate picture than a clinic room would give. They are comfortable, in their own space, with their own toys. It also means no drive, no waiting room, and no trying to keep a four-year-old settled in an unfamiliar building.
